Fun, healthy summer camp experiences
Give your child a fun summer adventure with UCare! We're partnering with One Heartland, the American Diabetes Association and YMCA Camp Ihduhapi to send young UCare members to summer camp.
No cost for eligible members
There is no cost for eligible members to attend the camps. Children must be UCare Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP) or MinnesotaCare members at the time of registration and during the dates of camp to attend at no cost.
YMCA Camp Ihduhapi Camp Superkids
Camp Superkids is a weeklong, overnight summer camp for kids with asthma. This program provides experiences that foster independence, inspire confidence and build self-esteem in kids with asthma, educating them and their families on how to better manage their disease.

One Heartland Camp True Colors
Camp True Colors is a place designed just for LGBTQ+ youth, where they can have fun and enjoy summer camp activities in a welcoming environment while building community with peers and adults with similar shared experiences.

One Heartland Camp Northstar
Camp Northstar is for youth experiencing housing instability. It is all about experiencing firsts that most kids take for granted. First time in the forest. First time seeing a night sky covered in stars instead of city lights. And the first time feeling free to be yourself and enjoy a week of camp in the woods.

American Diabetes Association Camp Needlepoint
Camp Needlepoint helps youth make unforgettable memories and meet friends who also have diabetes. The many activities offered include tennis, basketball, soccer, archery, climbing wall, rope course, horseback riding, volleyball, canoeing, sailing, kayaking and swimming.

American Diabetes Association Camp Daypoint
Camp Daypoint is an adventure for children ages 5 – 9 living with diabetes. Campers gain independence, grow in confidence, discover new skills and learn respect for others and the outdoors while enjoying activities like swimming, crafts, hikes and games.
