Medicaid plans for people ages 65 and older
UCare offers two health plans for people ages 65 and older who are eligible for Medicaid (Medical Assistance).
Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO)
UCare’s Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) is a plan that combines the benefits and services of Medicare and Medicaid with extra UCare benefits to give you the care that meets your needs.
Eligibility
Enroll in MSHO if you:
- Are 65 years of age or older
- Have Medicaid
- Have Medicare parts A and B
- Are a Minnesota resident who lives in UCare’s MSHO service area
Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+)
UCare MSC+ is a plan for people who are eligible for Medicaid. It includes waiver services for those who qualify.
Eligibility
Enroll in UCare's MSC+ plan if you:
- Are 65 years of age or older
- Eligible for Medicaid
- May or may not have Medicare and Part D coverage through another health plan
- Are a Minnesota resident who lives in the MSC+ service area
